A Couple of CASEd Tropical Oasis Projects

I mentioned in my last post on Friday that I have a Tropical Oasis Kit Together planned for March 26.  The attendees will make several projects using the Tropical Oasis Suite of products.  I shared one of those projects Friday and you can see it HERE.  Today I’m sharing two more, both of which I CASEd (Copy and share everything) from other talented people.  The first is from Mary Fish at StampinPrettycom.  You can see her original card here.

If you took a look at Mary’s you see I didn’t change much at all.  Why mess with perfection, right.  My only changes were to add a Grapefruit Grove card base instead of Whisper White and that was to keep consistent with the other projects the attendees will be making.  I also did a looped bow instead of a standard bow.

This card is CASEd from Brian King at StampwithBrian.com.  You can see his original post Here .  I changed up his design a bit but not much.  I used a different piece of Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper for my background so I needed to use different accent colors.  My card base is Coastal Cabana and if you look at all the colors that coordinate with this paper, and there are A LOT of them, Coastal Cabana is not one of them.  However, I think it totally should be and it works really well with this piece of DSP.  I also turned Brian’s card on it side and made it horizontal instead of vertical.

It’s my card but you can very much see where I got my idea from. CASEing is a very accepted form of praise and common practice, so long as you give credit where credit is due to the originator when sharing on any social media (Facebook, website, Pinterest, Instagram, etc)
