Pallet Thoughts and Best Plaid for Father’s Day

I’m here today with another Father’s Day card for you to consider.  It could also easily be converted to a birthday card for the man/men in your life.  I’ve also included a video showing how I made the woodgrain background.

I combined two great new products to make this card: Pallet Thoughts stamp and Best Plaid Builder die.  I used the Best Plaid Builder die set along with the Whiskey Business stamp set in my post last Friday.  You can see that card HERE. When I die cut the smaller die I realized it also cut all these great square (well nearly square) pieces out of the center and they would also be super cute on a different card.

I used the small die-cut on each of the new IN-Colors, then trimmed it down to a 2×2 square.  I mixed the inside squares up for lots of colors.  The Hello Handsome sentiment is from Pallet Thoughts and the Happy Father’s Day is from the Best Year stamp set that bundles (for 10% savings) with the Best Plaid Builder Die.  I used the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch for the sentiment layers.

To create the background I used my Stamparatus and the large stamp from Pallet Thoughts.  This stamp works perfectly with the Hinge Technique and your Stamparatus.  I’ve included a video so you can see exactly how it works.

Thank you for visiting today.  I always appreciate your comments and answer all questions as soon as possible.  Until next time…

Happy Stamping
Lynn
