I have another square card for you today, this time using Framed For You stamp set and In Good Taste Designer Series Paper. I’m not really sure why I’ve been making these square cards but they are awfully cute. You can see my previous square card HERE.
I held one of my stamp classes yesterday. The ‘students’ had asked for a Father’s Day card to be included so I just made the entire class a Masculine card class. They really liked this one as a masculine card as well.
I used two new products, Framed for you Stamp set and Stitched Triangle dies. The Frame from Framed for You does coordinate with our Squares Dies but for my card today it is all just a single layer. I used my Stamparatus to line up the frame and sentiment and stamped in Memento Black. Then I stamped the background using Smokey Slate. I stamped off on scrap paper two times before stamping on my feature piece.
I snipped the frame using scissors and added the triangle detail with a die from Stitched Triangles. It made a cute peek through for the Merry Merlot in the background. The little banners are also from the Stitched Triangles die set.
My card base is 4-1/4 x 8-1/2 scored at 4-1/4. Whisper White layer is 4×4 and the In Good Taste DSP is 3-3/4 x 3-3/4.
