I want to say Thank you to the Birds & Branches stamp and die set bundle. It has been a pleasure to work with you this week. You showed me many attributes of your designs and how I can be creative using them. I now have four wonderful cards that will be going out in the mail.
Today I also used Birds & Branches, but no birds. When I turned the branch image vertically, it looked like a tree to me. And the little branch looked like a flower stem. So that’s what I did.
Masking with a Die Cut
I stamped everything first, then using a technique I learned from fellow Demonstrator Jennifer Spiller, I cut a mask using one of the Stitched Nested Dies and used it to contain the sponging around the image. Jennifer is much better at this than I am but I’ll be practicing more in the weeks to come.
One of the dies from the set is a border die. How beautiful is that over on the side. I added just a strip of In Good Taste designer series paper on the opposite side for balance. The Thanks sentiment is from Many Mates and was cropped with another Stitched nested die. The symmetry made me smile.
Thank you for visiting today. I always appreciate your comments and answer all questions as soon as possible. Until next time…
Last Chance to sign up for my Annual Catalog Product Shares
Because there has been a delay in some folks receiving their new annual catalog (due to the pandemic affecting shipping times) I’m extending my deadline to sign up for paper shares to June 5 with payment due no later than June 7th.
Click HERE for all the information you need to know about my product shares. Be sure to read all the details before signing up.
What is a share?
It’s just like how it sounds! Instead of buying all of the new paper and ribbon in the Annual Catalog yourself, you’ll split it with 3 other people and pay a fraction of the price – and I do all the work for you!
This exclusive Sara-inspired Paper Pumpkin kit is here to help you #sharesunshine. It includes supplies for eight handmade cards and is specially designed to help you create a box full of cheer. Once you’ve made all the cards, use any leftover pieces to decorate the box. Fill it with yellow goodies, add the included adhesive label, address it to someone special, and brighten their life with a little sunshine! Watch the video to see more.
