Namaste With Today’s Tiles

Today’s Tiles stamp set, new in the annual catalog had this most respectful greeting ‘Nameste’ included and I loved that.  I created this card with just that sentiment in mind.

Today’s Tiles is a two-step stamp, meaning stamp one, then ink up the second in a different color and stamp over the top of the first.  I used my Stamparatus to make this super easy.  I stamped the first two rows in Bumblebee for the solid and Just Jade for the detail.  Then I used the hinge technique and moved the plate down two notches.  I cleaned the plate and stamped the second time with Just Jade as the solid and Magenta Madness for the detail.  I trimmed off the excess to get just the design elements I wanted.

With my busy design completed, I wanted something to add behind it that would complement, not detract.  I chose to use the new Stitched Triangle dies.  I selected the largest Right Angle triangle and cut it out of two pieces of the Flowers for Every Season 6×6 DSP.

I adhered the Just jade piece first, then the Bumblebee over top and added the Just Jade Triangle on top.  I still have the Bumblebee triangle to use on another project.

I did use a few of the dies from the coordinating bundle.  I like how they all work together to make a great centerpiece.

I used dimensional under the long rectangle die cut then added the Just Jade Ribbon.  I wanted the Magenta Madness die-cut to be elevated but not on the ribbon so I added dimensional’s on the top and bottom of the die-cut.

Final touches were 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots.
