Warm Hugs for InKing Royalty Blog Hop

Warm Hugs

It’s Christmas in July and who doesn’t need a Warm Hug. Welcome to InKing Royalty’s July Blog Hop! During this year’s blog hops, we are enjoying a year of celebrations. This month’s projects celebrate Christmas in July. Demonstrators have been able to order new products from the upcoming August-December Mini Catalog, so prepare yourself for a gorgeous mix of new products, products available in the Annual Catalog, and returning favorites. What fun! We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

Warm Hugs

This is a sneak peek of one of the new product suites in the Aug – Dec Mini Catalog (formerly known as the Holiday catalog called Heartwarming Hugs.  This suite has amazing patterned paper, two terrific stamp sets and a die set perfect for making wraps for those little cups.  And a carrier to boot.  It was one of my favorites in this new catalog, and that is saying something cause it is pretty amazing.  You’ll be able to order from it starting Aug 4.

Warm Hugs

I love this cup carrier.  It was easy to create a pretty wrap to go around it with a few pieces of Heartwarming Hugs Designer series paper.  I cut two strips of 2 x 12 and two strips of 1 x 12 and loosely wrapped them around the carrier.  I trimmed off the extra with scissors.  I tied a nice big bow around with the diagonal stripe Mossy Meadow ribbon and used the Real Red Braided linen trim to tie on the tag.

Warm Hugs

The Heartwarming Hugs suite includes the Warm Hugs Bundle.  The dies included in the bundle make these perfectly sized wraps for the 3-1/2″ tall cups.  I used the same paper for both cups, just different sides.

Warm Hugs

Two of the dies are for making the stitched scalloped borders.  It is best to attach the borders before you wrap it around the cup rather than after.  Cut two of each size and line up the two long ones for the top and the two short ones for the bottom.

I added Stampin’ Seal + tape runner on the inside of the band and used that to attach it to the cup.  This keeps it from sliding around or falling off.  Tear tape would also work.

  4. Wow! This is an awesome post. Your mugs and carrier are gorgeous – I love the colors and the details you added. But, what really stands out to me today is how you showcased everything.
