I’m back with another card using Have a Hoot to celebrate the Autumn Weather InKing Royalty Blog Hop. These little owls are just so darn cute. You can see my previous Valentine Card using this stamp set HERE.
Welcome to InKing Royalty’s August Blog Hop! During this year’s blog hops, we are enjoying a year of celebrations. This month’s projects celebrate Autumn Weather, so prepare yourself for projects that are filled with warm tones and beautiful nods to the upcoming change in weather. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
This stamp and die bundle has some great images, dies to cut around them, and these adorable tags. You can use the negative tags as a collage or separately as I did here today. I thought they looked great on this slim-line card measuring 3-1/2 x 5-1/2 and fits in a standard envelope.
I pulled the colors for my tags from the piece of Plaid Tidings DSP: Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, and Pretty Peacock. I stamped each of the owls in Cajun Craze and colored them with Cinnamon Cider, Pretty Peacock, and Daffodile Delight Stampin’ Blends.
The sentiment is from Hallows Night stamp set, stamped in versa mark and white embossing powder on Pretty Peacock. I cut each word apart then created the classic banner layer behind them.
Think outside the box when using your punches to get even more versatility.
