Let’s Celebrate – SC&E Blog Candy

September 1st is coming up in only a few days and I want to celebrate with you on the release of the new Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine – or SC&E as I like to call it – with some die-cutting blog candy. This new die cutting machine is available for purchase on Sept 1.

SC&E Blog Candy

SC&E is Stampin’ UP!s new die cutting and embossing machine and let me tell you, it is wonderful. I have mine – as a demonstrator I was able to order mine in Aug – and I love the numbered plates and how smoothly everything glides through to be cut or embossed. Want to see it in action. Check out the video I made when I used SC&E for the first time.

Now, How about that Blog Candy

I have two retired stamp and die bundles I’m giving away to one lucky winner. To enter, leave a comment on this post telling me your favorite stamp and die bundle from Stampin’ UP! – it can be active now, or retired – and why it is your favorite and if you plan to purchase the new SC&E.

I’ll randomly pick the winner from all the comments submitted and announce the winner on Wednesday, Sept 2. I’ll send an email to the winner for shipping info.

  1. I’m currently loving the Magnolia bundle. It’s perfect for any occasion and elegant. Not sure about the new machine yet.

  2. I love the Spooktacular Bash Bundle. The ornate dies are not just for Halloween. They are so versatile. I’ve used the dies so much.

    • I was soooo glad to see those dies carry over to the annual. I used them for the halloween but I’ve been using them so much more for all the rest of the year.

  3. Haven’t decided on the new cutting machine yet. I want to see more reviews.

    • I get that Babe. It’s a big $ purchase and worthy of deliberation. I say, if you have another brand, use it until it doesn’t work anymore, then seriously consider the SC&E.

  4. If this is a duplicate I’m so sorry. I like the Spooktacular Bash Bundle with the ornate dies. The dies are so versatile. Not just for Halloween.
I use them all the time.

  5. The Bird Ballad is an awesome set. Who does not like birds?
Thank you for offering this blog candy. Fun!!!

    • I know, right! I love that set too and I’ve made lots of cards using it and the retired DSP. Thanks for playing along today.

WOW!!! Most excellent video on the new machine!!! You covered so much more than the SU video did. It was great to see you actually demonstrate it as well as physically compare it to the Big Shot.
SU needs to put you on the payroll!

    • Thanks Karen. I really wanted to show it actually cutting and embossing. And I wasn’t disappointed by how it works. Thanks for playing along today.

  7. LOVE THE NUMBER SYSTEM…IT MAKES IT EASY TO KNOW WHAT PLATES TO USE INSTEAD OF TRYING ONE AFTER ANOTHER WITH, THE PLATES, BEING TOO LOSE OR TOO OR TOO TIGHT. I ALSO LIKE THE FOLD UP SIDES…GREAT FOR GOING WITH YOU & IT MAKES IT MORE COMPACT FOR STORING.

    • I know, right. Even experienced stampers and die cutters will appreciate those numbers and all the very clear sandwich instructions on plate number 1.Thanks for playing along today.

  8. I think my favorite stamp and die bundle was the Flourishing Phrases. It is so versatile with the sentiments, and the dies have even more things in them like flowers! Just beautiful. I am keeping this one, even though it’s retired

    • Carole, I had a really hard time giving up my Flourishing Phrases. If I had the roomm it would certainly been a keeper on my shelves for just the reasons you stated. I loved that you could make flowers but also other elements and there was always a sentiment to go with it. Thanks for playing along.

  9. Lynn, You know that I am counting down the hours now to place my order for my very own Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine!! My favorite die bundle from the new catalog is the Birds & Branches Bundle. I love the branch cut through die and the trim piece in particular. This will definitely be an all time favorite set for me!

    • Oh, I know you are so excited about the new SC&E Machine. I also love that Birds & Branches. Birds are so universal, they can be used for any occassion and any gender. Who wouldn’t love a versatile set like that. Thanks for playing along.
