I’m back again today with more Poinsettias to share. This card is all about the dies and DSP ( designer series paper). I actually did very little stamping to create this card but it definitely was not a quick card to make.
To make a card that truly showed off the poinsettia dies to the fullest, I used real red and garden green. With the magic of two dies at once I was able to cut out all the embossed petals ‘lickity-split’.
How about that berry design paper in the Poinsettia Place DSP pack. I used that as a backdrop then filled in some elements in front and behind. The branches you see at the bottom are from another die set called Sweetest Border with very vanilla paper piecing to fill in the negative spaces.
Finishing touches included some Poinsettia Place pearl centers – colored yellow with my Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin Blend Marker – some sheer Real Red Ribbon and the Merry Christmas sentiment stamped in Real Red on Very Vanilla then fussy cut.
I’m thinking about my Christmas card design….thanks for the inspiration.
