Avery turns 11

September 27 is a big day around here. Avery, the original Avery, turns 11. That means officially a pre-teen. Oh, My! watch out. Avery is my oldest granddaughter and who my website and Stampin’ UP! business was named after. Here is the card I made for her.

Here she is, with her little sister Hadley. Hadley is squinting with the sun in her eyes but both were pleased with new haircuts.

I wanted a card for Avery that would pull in the colors she likes, right now that is lavenders and pinks. I chose to pair Highland Heather with Coastal Cabana for a bright cheery card for her.

I used pulled out a piece of Brights 6×6 DSP for the circle, cropping it and a piece of whisper white with the largest circle die in Layering Circles. The whisper white was for stability so it could be popped up on dimensionals.

Stitched Be Mine were perfect for the heart shapes. The sentiments all came from Field of flowers. How perfect is that ‘In My Heart’ sentiment inside the heart frame and a field of flowers at the bottom to round off the card. And so true to, because Avery is always in my heart.

Happy birthday big girl.

Thank you for checking out another of my projects.  I hope you liked it and hope you’ll leave me a comment with your thoughts.  Until next time…

Happy Stamping
