Beautiful Friendship and Some Blog Candy

Today is a big day. Today is my birthday and so I’m celebrating with you by offering some blog candy, specifically the Beautiful Friendship stamp set. Yup, the same stamp set I used to create today’s Birthday Card. Isn’t it cool when it all works out like that.

Beautiful Friendship

Somehow I ended up with two Beautiful Friendship stamp sets. It happens, I order it and then forget I ordered it and order it again. Or, I order it and then receive it as a gift from Stampin’ UP! or one of my up lines. Either way, you win, cause I’m going to give away the second one. Just leave a comment below to enter. I’ll announce the random winner on Friday, Oct 16.

Beautiful Friendship

What is even sadder is that I didn’t even ink up this beautiful stamp set until recently. I don’t know what I was waiting for as it made the prettiest card. I will admit I cased this card from the annual catalog. I was in a hurry to come up with a project for one of my classes and they LOVED IT.

Beautiful Friendship

Not only did I use a new stamp set but I also used Rococo Rose Ink as the main color. I admit, it isn’t my favorite color but boy does it look great here. Paired with Crumb Cake, Blackberry Bliss, and Gold foil it is elegant.

    Thanks for sharing.

  2. Loved your card today. Such an unusual way to stamp the design. Great colors too. I have to admit, Rococo Rose was not my favorite either, but you may have changed that! Happy Birthday as well. Hope you celebrate your birthday MONTH! Can’t relegate it to just one day of fun. Have a great month.

  3. Happy Birthday, Lynn! I hope your day is as beautiful as this card!
