Sometimes the monthly Paper Pumpkin kit is absolutely perfect. Just put the cards or boxes together using the instructions provided. Other times, the kit is great but I see so much more potential in making alternative projects. That’s what happened with the February Paper Pumpkin kit. Here, let me show you.
This is the card as designed by the Designers. Adorable. How about that Thinking of you sticker included in the kit. This kit is designed to coordinate with the Field and Flower Designer Series Paper that was free with purchase in Jan-Feb, I created this card as an alternative.
Alternative #1
I cased an alternative sample included in the kit as a way to decorate a mini Paper Pumpkin box (item 153069) in the annual catalog) but I created a standard size card instead.
More Alternatives
Here are a few other alternatives. The point here is that you can certainly make the kit exactly as is, or you can switch things up, using the kit products. Or, add products you already have and create something really unique. There are always lots of alternative ideas on Pinterest. Just search for Paper Pumpkin Alternatives February 2021 or whatever month you are looking for.
