Beautiful Friendship Sneak Peek

Today I’m sharing a Sneak Peek of the Beauty of Friendship Bundle from the upcoming annual catalog releasing on May 4. If you love trees, and who doesn’t, then this bundle is for you.

One of the best perks of being a member of Stampin’ UP! (besides the 20-25% discount on everything you purchase) is the ability to get new products before they have been released to everyone. With every new catalog, Demonstrators are able to purchase select items to plaly with and enjoy about a month ahead of time. For those demonstrators who are using Stampin’ UP! as a business, this provides a great time to prep for classes and events when the catalog does go live. We like to call this time – Sneak Peek time!

Here in Ohio, we have lots and lots of beautiful Redbud trees and this time of year when they are blooming they are a vibrant pink/purple. My neighbors have one in their yard I can see from my stampin office. It was definetly the inspiration for my card today. What in nature inspires your card making? I’d love to hear your ideas in the comments.

Not only does this Beauty of Friendship stamp/die bundle (and the coordinating Designer Series Paper) make some gorgeous trees, but you can use one of the die cuts to make your own cloud background like I did.

Beautiful Tree Sky and Cloud Background

Cut out the large background die from Beautiful Trees designed for the leaves on a tree. Use that along with a blending brush and Balmy Blue along the edges over a white piece of cardstock. Vary the placement of the cardstock and angle and continue to just brush along the bottom edge of the die-cut. Now, turn it 180degrees, and ta-da, you have a lovely sky and cloud background.
