Over the last couple of years, I have been sending Halloween Cards to lots of friends and family. It’s a fun time of year and a rather unexpected type of card to receive. Today’s Halloween card may or may not be going out in mass but it sure was fun to create using the Frightfully Cute Halloween stamp set and suite products.
My intention was to create a Frightfully Cute scene with lots of elements from the Frightfully Cute and Cute Halloween products. The Halloween Punch works with the Cute Halloween Stamp set AND the Cute Halloween DSP. I love it when Stampin’ UP! does that. What I couldn’t use the punch for I used my paper snips to cut out. All in all, it’s a fun card to create and I hope you give it a try.
Step by Step Cute Halloween instructions
- Basic White Thick card base 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored at 4-1/4.
- Basic Gray cardstock 4 x 5-1/4. Stamp the ghost outline randomly around the edges. Be sure to add the eyes for a fun look. Use tape runner to add to card front.
- Cute Halloween DSP striped pattern 2 x 4 vertical. Adhere to card front with tape runner.
- Cut a piece of Fresh Freesia cardstock using the Scallopped and Contoured die.
- Using the Designer series, punch or snip pumpkin, skull, ghosts, and tombstone. Die cut two of the Fence row and one tree from Basic Black using the Frightfully Cute dies. Crop a basic white moon and a basic gray owl from the die set as well. Finally, stamp HEY, BOO! sentiment on basic white and snip apart.
- Adhere pieces onto Fresh Freesia die cut to your liking using tape runner and dimensional. Add entire panel to cardd front with dimensional.
