I know, I know, it is still August and here in Central Ohio, it is hot-hot-hot. But I love gingerbread and I love the new Gingerbread & Peppermint suite in the mini Stampin’ UP! catalog. I especially love the Memories & More card as well as the Cards & Envelopes. Using the very economical card pack ($11 for 60 double-sided cards) means quick and easy holiday cards ready to go.
I paired the Memories & More card pack with the coordinating 6×6 paper for some fun additions. My stamp class this week made this card and then I gave them free reign to make a second card using the card pack and paper.
Step by step Sugar & Spice card
- Memories & More cards & envelopes. All the card bases and envelopes are the same packaged in counts of 20.
- Sugar and Spice 3 x 4 card from the card pack. Layer a piece of Real Red 3-1/8 x 4-1/8 underneath. Adhere together with tape runner then add to card front with dimensional.
- Use paper snips to cut out two mits, a right and a left, from the Gingerbread and Peppermint 6×6 DSP paper. Adhere to card front as shown with dimensional.
- Die-cut the peppermint candies fromt the same DSP using the circle dies from the Gingerbread dies. You could also hand snip these. Adhere to card front with glue dots.
- Not shown in this picture – add some Gingerbread & Peppermint Acrylic shapes to the peppermint candies for added embelishment.

Absolutely Love this card! I had been contemplating the Stamping up gingerbread stamps and dies. But I also was considering the other set with the clothes Shea and the other baked goods. When I saw your card the sentiments and how you designed it you made me make a good decision. I am in love with this card.
