There is always a lot of fall birthdays to celebrate so I made two cards using the Nature’s Harvest stamp set and featuring two different coloring methods. Here let me show you.
Nature’s Harvest Card #1
Use watercolor paper, and heat embossing to start by stamping the Nature’s Harvest flower image with early espresso ink and clear embossing powder. This will help your watercolor stay inside the lines. Use the following colors to watercolor the image. Add the watercolor dots after you are finished, using what is left on your brush all around the image.
The background piece of pale papaya cardstock was overstamped with the image from Natures Harvest stamp i(n the bottom right corner) using Pale Papaya ink. It adds texture and dimension at the same time.
Nature’s Harvest Card #2
Use the same stamp with Early Espresso. Color the image using Stampin’ Blends in all in the same colors. as above. Use the coordinating Harvest Dies to crop the image.
Use the same overstamping technique here as well on the background and add a tag from Tailored Tags and the happy birthday sentiment from Best Year.
