If I had to pick a sleeper item from the Sale-a-bration brochure it would be the Textures & Frames stamp set. Honestly, the samples do not do it justice. The textures & Frames stamp set is so versatile. I created my own fall-themed background using the stamps and 4 colors of ink. Imagine what could be done with any other color combination.
The Biggest Wish stamp set is another of my favorites from the annual catalog. I like the combinations possible with the big font and scripted words. I used this card in a recent Stamp Class and most chose to do Happy Birthday making a great masculine card and who doesn’t need more of those.
Step by Step Textures & Frames card
- Create the background on a 4 x 5-1/4 piece of basic white cardstock. Use Merry Merlot, Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider and Old Olive inks and all the images from Textures & Frames. Experiment with full strength and stamping off for the best effect.
- Mount onto a 4-1/8 x 5-3/8 piece of Merry Merlot cardstock and add all that to an Old Olive card base (8-1/2 x 5-1/2 scored at 4-1/4)
- Stamp your choice of Biggest Wish sentiments on a 1-3/4 x 2-1/2 piece of basic white. Mount onto a 1-7/8 x 2-5/8 piece of Cinnamon Cider.
- Cut three strips of Bumblebee ribbon and fold in half, adhere together with glue dots. Adhere to back of sentiment panel with more glue dots – making one longer than the other two. Adhere entire panel to card front as shown with dimensional.
