Welcome to InKing Royalty’s January Blog Hop! We are having so much fun with our new Sale-a-Bration products and are excited to share some of that fun with you today. This month’s projects feature papers or stamp sets (or both!) from Stampin’ Up!’s January – February 2022 Sale-a-Bration brochure. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

My card today takes advantage of the beautiful Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper Daffodil Afternoon, free with a qualifying purchase of $50. I thought this pattern would make a pretty background to the stamped image from the coordinating stamp set from the new Mini catalog Daffodil Daydream.

Step by Step Sale-a-Bration Daffodil Afternoon card
- Thick basic white card base 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 scored at 4-1/4. Use the scroll image from Daffodil Daydream on all four sides using Memento Ink
- Stamp daffodile image from Daffodil Daydream on a piece of Bumblebee Daffodil Afternoon DSP from Sale-A-Bration brochure using Memento Ink. Stamp the same image and two butterflies on a piece of scrap basic white cardstock.
- Use Scallop & Contours die to crop the image from the DSP. Mount onto the card base using dimensional.
- Use paper snips to cut out the two daffodils and the two butterflies. Mount over the stamped image on the DSP with dimensional.
- Stamp sentiment from Sale-A-Bration stamp set Special Moments, free with a qualifying order of $100, using memento ink on scrap piece of basic white. Crop sentiment using Picture This stitched circle. Mount on card front as shown with dimensional.
- Tie a bow with black backers twine and adhere to bottom of sentiment with a glue dot. Add three white matte dots from the Classic Matte Dot embellishment pack.
- Finish off your project with a piece of Daffodil Afternoon Sale-a-bration dsp on the flap of the envelope.
