Welcome to InKing Royalty’s February Blog Hop! This is a great time of year to build your stash of handmade birthday cards, so we are sharing birthday-themed projects with you today. I’m pulling out a favorite from the Annual Catalog, Bloom Where You’re Planted 12×12 DSP with a little Eden’s Garden thrown in for good measure. I’m excited to share our creations and hope you love them! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

I really had no idea what I was making when I started this card, just that I wanted it to be a birthday card. I hadn’t used any of the Plentiful Plants Stamp/Die bundle or the coordinating Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP in a long time so figured that was a good starting place.
Snip Snip Snip

Don’t be afraid to snip out those beautiful elements from your Designer Series Paper. Why not use the artistry to your advantage with a few snips of your scissors. I snipped out the pots and the plants all from the DSP.
Bloom with Eden’s Garden too

Eden’s Garden has awesome plant-based dies that look great with the plants on my card. I die cut the bottom strip from Basic white then colored it with Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen and Petal Pink stampin’ blends and added to the bottom front of my card.
The top left die I cropped from Soft Succulent and snipped off just the corner to use around my sentiment.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop,

Lynn, this is lovely. I love how you cut all the elements and combined them to make this sweet card. The calm colors are perfect!
Brilliant job, Lynn! What a stunning card!
This card is wonderful and would be great for anyone. I immediately thought of a friend who has lots of plants. Very elegant.
Great card, Lynn! These plants in natural containers are so on trend right now & you made a beautiful scene with them!

I really love Eden’s Garden Dies and you paired them so nicely with the plants. Love it
Lynn, I haven’t seen many cards using the succulents that got my attention as yours has. I love your card with the DSP layer and the pots of plants on a “shelf” look so pretty. I really like it. Enjoy your day!
Lynn, Great card. I love that you just started playing and the inspiration came! Awesome!
Love your card. Sometimes pieces just ‘speak’ and inspiration flows. 🙂
