Every year for many years I have hosted a Holiday Stamp-a-Stack where attendees make 20-holiday cards in an afternoon. They love it, what a great way to get a head start on your holiday card-making. This year instead of 4 or 5 different designs we are only making 2, or 10 of each and I’m sharing those with you today.
Way back in July Stampin’ UP! hosted Sale-a-Bration with the launch of the July-Dec mini catalog. One of the free items with a $50 purchase was a set of 20 card bases and envelopes in Soft Sea Foam and Pool Party. I ordered a lot of products during that time so I ended up with several of these packages and what better way to use them than at Stamp-a-Stack.
This Stamp-a-Stack card uses the Pool Party card base, I’m sorry the color isn’t great in these pictures but I hope you get the gist. The tree from the Christmas Lights bundle was stamped with Evening Evergreen on pool party cardstock and then die cut with the two coordinating dies. Pool party is such a versatile color and a pop of red really brings this card together.
This card uses the Soft Sea Foam card base and Cottage Wreath stamp/die bundle. I went through many iterations of color combinations until I landed on Crumb Cake for the stems and Mossy Meadow for the leaves. A pretty Soft Sea Foam bow on top, and a Stylish Shapes vellum circle and pearls tie it all together.
