Now that I’m back in my craft room on a regular basis it is time to buckle down and get some Holiday cards made. Nothing says holiday like Candy Canes in red and green.
The 4 x 5-1/4 pieces of white stripes were layered over a piece of Lights Aglow DSP cut to 4 x 5-1/4. It all sits on a Real Red card base 5-1/2 x 8-1/2.
Final details
Final details include the pine branches die cut from Christmas Banners Dies in Garden green. A fluffy bow from white bakers twine, and some Red Pearlized enamel accents dots and added stripes on the candy canes.
Don’t forget the inside
I will admit that I’m not always one to complete the inside of a card but I’m trying to do better in that area. I stamped the sentiment from the now available Framed and Festive stamp set (only available until Jan 4) and paired it with some holly leaves and berries. Still leaving plenty of room for a message.
