Are you thinking of Valentine’s Day yet? Well, I am! January is the time to be getting all your Valentine’s cards ready to send or give and I have a beautiful one to share with you today, using the Country Bouquet stamp/punch bundle now available for purchase.
I have to admit, I’m not one to make a lot of Valentine’s cards and don’t usually purchase those stamp sets when they are released but this Country Bouquet Stamp/Punch bundle definitely caught my eye. The heart that isn’t symmetrical, the color shading, and oh my goodness the paper made it too much to pass up. Here is a close-up of the stamp and punch

I love the stamp and punch bundles because they are less expensive than a die bundle, they are quick and easy to use and as with this punch, it coordinates with the Designer Paper so you can punch out ready-made designs lickitty split. Here is a closer look at the DSP. The hearts and leaves in the bottom row second from the right are designed to be punched with the Country Bouquet punch.
How to create the Fun Fold
With DSP like this with so many beautiful patterns that coordinate together, I wanted to use a card layout that could show off multiple designs. My go-to for this is an easy fun fold card.
Cut your card base to 4-1/4 x 11, score at 5-1/2, then cut off the bottom at 2-3/4. Turn the card base so it opens on the right and use that piece horizontally on the front.
Three of the hearts were punched out from the DSP and layered on the front. I placed the leaves that also punched out randomly around the focal point and topped it off with a white heat embossed happy valentines day sentiment.
Inside the card are three more stamps from the stamp set. The heart is a two-step. I found it easiest to stamp the Mint Macaron green leaves first then the Sweet Sorbet flowers lined up to fit inside.
