Delicate Desert suite of products is new in the Jan-Apr mini catalog and even if you aren’t a fan of desert-themed products this one deserves another look. The warm colors and designs remind me of the desert but also have a bit of an Egyptian feel as well.
This was my first time using the Desert Details stamps, dies, and Delicate Desert Designer Series Paper in this set and I’m very happy with the outcome. When I’m working with something for the first time I reacquaint myself with the DSP designs for color combinations. Then I look through the dies and stamps to see what might catch my eye. Here’s a closer look.

I was thinking a tone-on-tone desert scene would be nice using the second from the right, bottom row design in gray granite with some gray granite die cuts over top. The die cuts can be used individually or nested together. The Pale Papaya frame was a late addition to my card but I think it pulls the whole thing together.
