Who doesn’t love some gold and watercolor (easy watercolor at that) on a Hello card. I cased this card from the Sale-a-Braion (SAB) brochure to showcase the In the Country stamp set, free with a $50 purchase. Let’s take a look.
The design of the scene in In the Country has detail but it was an easy watercolor task using petal pink, calypso coral, and shaded spruce ink after first stamping and heat embossing with Gold powder on a piece of shimmer white cardstock. This kind of cardstock is often used for watercolor. I used a splatter technique with my water painter and some basic gray ink on the image as well.

Added Details
The quatrefoil tile embossing folder added some texture without overpowering the image by embossing Very Vanilla cardstock over a very vanilla card base. The shimmer gold frame was created using the Deckled Rectangles dies. I pulled the Hello There sentiment from the Nature’s Prints stamp set, one of my go-to favorites.
