There are times when I need to create a card quickly for an upcoming class. I find those times are when I look to case the catalog for inspiration or simply to recreate. This card was made using the Dainty Delights stamp die bundle and free Dainty Flowers 12×12 paper pretty much exactly the same as the catalog with a few slight differences.

I like to include new techniques in my classes. My ‘students’ really like learning new ways to use their existing products. In today’s card we die cut the leaf branches from Dainty Delights die set from Old Olive. Then pressed the die-cut leaf randomly onto a versamark ink pad and powdered it with white embossing powder. Heat the powder and you have a unique way of showing off that leaf.

There was some debate during class as to the meaning of the sentiment, specifically the “season of growth” portion. I thought it meant Spring but the rest of the class thought it referred to sympathy and unfortunate adjustment. We may never know.
