Marigolds Galore

Did you know that Marigolds come in a variety of colors, including blue? Yup, I looked it up. Blue. And pink, and of course the oranges, and yellows we are most accustomed to. My card today shows off a fabulous color combination of Marigolds in blues that really makes this two-step stamp pop.

I have paired Orchid Oasis with Starry sky for my Marigolds. It’s like magic when you stamp the Starry sky over the top of the Orchid. I pulled the paper from the Fancy Floral 6×6 paper to create my little panel and the sentiment from the Much Love dies. Here’s a look at my inspiration.

Mine isn’t quite as vibrant as the real thing but I still really like how it turned out. I also used one of the new Basic 3D embossing folders to add texture to the card front.
