Today’s card really is a Just Because card. Not for any particular purpose really. Just what came out of my application of the Pals Paper Arts color challenge this week using Baked Brown Sugar, Calypso Coral and Very Vanilla.
About the card
1. Since it was all about the three colors, those choices were already made. What kind of card though, was not. I hadn’t used much of the Mosaic Madness stamp set with coordinating punch (purchased as a bundle to save 15%, YAY) so I thought I might start with that.
2. I am a sucker for something unique in a card and cropping off what I thought was going to be the side of the card so the inside could show through was just the trick. I used the large scallop thinlit die to give it some curve appeal.
3. But then when I was looking for the right way to adorn the inside showing through, the Just Because stamp from A dozen Thoughts looked too perfect. I liked the font with the shapes of the punches. I guess it’ll be a fold up card rather than a fold left. Works for me.
Thanks for stopping by today. I read and savor all the comments I receive.
