Thankful for FMS 102

Today’s card was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches challenge.  I was wanting to use my Thankful Thinlits Expression Die and thought this sketch would do the trick.

And here is the sketch that inspired me.

About this card
1. I used my brayer with Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Soft Suede over the top of the embossed image.

2.  I played around with many different colors of Thankful and finally landed on Soft Suede.  Honestly I should have started with that to begin with.  I added a piece of Pumpkin Pie behind the Sweater Weather DSP to make it all stand out.

3. I also wanted to use hemp twine for my bow but needed a double bow to make it full enough. I just love You Tube. Found a video for tying a double bow using nothing but ribbon and your own fingers.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today.

What I used
Stamps: none, Ink: Cajun Craze, Soft Suede, Crushed Curry, Paper: So Saffron, Soft Suede, Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Accessories: Thinlits Expression Die, Beautifully Baroque, twine.

  1. Lynn – the brayered Beautifully Baroque background is absolutely stunning! And congrats on the double bow! I’m not very good at the single bow. 🙂
