After coming off of Wedding week last week and the blog hop I was up for a good old fashioned sketch challenge. Todays card is for the Pals Paper Arts challenge number 188. I also challenged myself to keep it simple by only using one stamp set.
About my card
1. Sneak Peak of one of the new Designer Series Paper collections from Sale-a-bration called Sweet Sorbet. The pastel colors with the basic black and crushed curry are wonderful together. I used almost all of the colors from the DSP in my Morning Meadow flower stamp on the right. Using markers to color the stamp makes it easy to mix but only stamp once. Morning Meadow is a hostess stamp set. You can purchase it with any qualifying purchase or party of $150 or more.
2. The large flower on the left is also from Morning Meadow and it coordinates with the large Pansy punch in the annual cataloge. There is a new little pansy punch available in the Occasions catalog.
3. Don’t forget the inside. I stamped the pansy again on the inside and overstamped it with Happy Birthday, you guessed it, also from the Moring Meadow stamp set.
Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you have a great Martin Luther King weekend. Ours here in central Ohio is supposed to be cold and snowy, but that’s ok. I actually love snow.
