Hi All. Well, I made it back safe and sound from Las Vegas. I was there for work but did have an opportunity to lose some of my money in the slot machines. They are so good to have those everywhere you go!! Anyway, back here in Ohio and Monday was my first chance to stamp. Not because didn’t get home until then but because I came home to a horrible cold. I haven’t moved from the couch since Friday. So today, I’m writing this Monday evening, I was itching to get back to my stamping corner. What a better way to get back in the groove than with not one but two challenges. Here’s my card, and the challenges that inspired me.
First the Mojo Monday Sketch
And the Paper Players challenge #185 Thank you card
About my card
1. When I saw the sketch I immediately saw a hole in the big square rather than a layer. I played around with other colors and even textures only to land on the most basic of blacks.
2. I really didn’t set out to make a card with three stamp sets included, really I didn’t. And it was almost four stamp sets but that part of the card I abandoned. Never glue down until you are sure you like it. But, three stamp sets there are but I love how they work together. The Just Sayin Hey there! draws attention, the Hip Notes Thanks in the center is says to what, and the So Much from the Thank-You photopolymer set says why.
3. A little bit of texture is included with square lattice on the left panel of the kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper. The flip side of that paper is the panel on the right. Little bit more texture with the multi-loop ribbon, held together by glue dots with a petite petal flower and brad on top.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Hope you all have a great week. If you are interested in purchasing any of the items used in my card today, click on any of the images below to be taken to my Stampin up on line store.

What I used
Great pops of color, Lynn! And that flower really sets it all off – love it!
Love the black bow and flower. 🙂
Really pretty and glad you are feeling better!! Card challenges and suggestions have been helping me a lot, too! Been more creative with these as a starting point.
I LOVE this….this is such a cool sketch, and you have used such neat elements as well as a wonderful color combo! Wonderful! Thanks for sharing this with us at the Paper Players!!!
