Welcome….back

Dear Constant Reader,

I’m sorry I’ve been MIA lately.  A variety of reasons were the cause, most of which could be summed up in one word, LIFE.  Oh, and PC problems.  There have been a lot of things going on in my household lately and it has been over a week since I was able to get some creative crafting going on. And let me tell you, I missed it.  The sad thing is that I probably won’t be able to be back in my craft corner again until Monday.  This weekend my stepson is getting married.  The weekend starts today with out of town guests arrival.

My card today will just have to tied you over until my return next week. Thanks for sticking with me and always being my Constant Reader.

Your Stamping Friend,
Lynn

IMG_1008Today’s card is a quick, clean lined card with some nice creative elements.  In my full time day job, we have had three new folks join our department.  I’ve been meaning to make them a welcome card.  One of my challenges was I didn’t have a stamp with Welcome, on it.  At least I didn’t think I did until I started pulling out all my sentiment stamps and came across Petite Pairs.  There is a combo stamp with welcome, baby…..so glad you’re here.  I masked the ‘baby’ with tape and inked it up with versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  So pretty.  I stamped the ‘so glad you’re here on the inside. Three little candy dots balance the image.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I think next week I’ll be back on my regular Tue-Thur-Sunday schedule.  Thanks so much for sticking with me.
