Box #2 – A Fold Over Bag

Welcome to the second edition of Box month at the Owlery.  Today’s box is technically not a box, but a bag.  A fold over bag to be exact.  Bags like these are very in right now, you can by paper sacks for your lunch and re-purpose, purchase some darling ones all ready for stamping from Stampin Up! or do like I did and make my own.  Again, thanks to Sam Donald at Pootles.co.uk for the inspiration and instructions.

I pulled out my 2013-2015 DSP stack and grabbed a sheet of crisp cantaloupe.  I really like pairing this color with basic black for a clean look. The bag uses one piece of paper 10″ x 12″.

Do you see some new sneak peek items included?  Yup, the punch, Note Tag Punch and the Grateful for You stamp from a new coordinating stamp set (can you spell bundle!!!) called Merry Everything available Aug 28 from the Holiday Catalog.  To make the tag open I folded a piece of white card stock in half and slid it into the punch with the folded side just inside the punch portion.  It doesn’t get punched and the result is a tag that open, perfect for a little hand written note.
