Welcome to the September Pals Blog Hop. This month we are showing off our favorite new products from the new Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog. We hope you enjoy our projects!
You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from #34 Maggie Mata at Maggie Made Cards on the Pals Hop. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.
One final, for now anyway, holiday card. This one features the Festival of Trees bundle. 13 stamps with a coordinating tree punch. So so many ways you can use this set. Today I paired them with the Letterpress set and the Warmest Wishes stamp set from Christmas Bliss because it also included Christmas trees.
I stamped the two of the tree images on a piece of DSP from the Trim the Tree paper stack. One side of the paper has early espresso with white Christmas tree pattern so I used that alone for the third tree. The Festival of Trees stamp set is photopolymer which means it is clear and so easy to use for two step stamping – stamping one image over another.
I originally thought I would use Early Espresso as the base layer of this card but when I layed it out it was too dark for my liking. So instead I used Pistachio Pudding stamped again with two of the letterpress snowflake stamps with Pistachio Pudding ink for tone on tone background. The sentiment stamped in Cherry Cobbler is layered with Mossy Meadow and Early Espresso. Some of the pearls were colored with the darkest Cherry Cobbler blendability.
Inside I carried the theme on with two pistachio pudding snowflakes in the corner and a Cherry Cobbler sentiment from Festival of Trees.
I hope you have enjoyed this early peak into the holiday season. Now it’s time to get my fall creativity going.
