Hi everyone. It is definitely Fall. The air is crisp and the colors are beautiful. On Sunday my girls, grand girls and sons-in-law all went apple picking at a local amazing apple orchard called Lynd’s. They had the new Sun Crips apples that are so wonderful, juicy, sweet and crisp. Scoll down to see some pics of the grand girls picking apples. This is a family tradition this time of year to celebrate my birthday (which was Oct 14). We came home and had home made chili. Yum. Well here’s my fall card.
I fell in love with this card when I saw it on the Pals August Blog Hop by Kim Jolley at www.StampinArtfully.com and cased this card from her. The leaves are so easy to create and are a great technique to use this time of year. I always pridefully tell everyone, no they are not real leaves, they are paper, made to look real. To see a previous blog post explaining the technique, click here.
Don’t forget the inside. I stamped the branches from the Hostess Set Bloom with hope on the outside as part of the background, then re-stamped them twice on the inside. I colored them with my old olive and crumb cake blendabilities.

The leaves are beautiful, the shading on the background is exquisite, but let’s talk about this beautiful family. These girls are adorable, Lynn! Thanks for sharing your talents and pictures with us.
Your grandbabies are precious! Great card. : )
