Sprinkles of Life – Part 2

On Monday I posted a card I made for a co-worker for a ‘kid-friendly’ birthday. You can see that card Here.  Today’s card was made using some of the remaining pieces from Monday.  I like to be frugal with my stamping.  I also like to get as much out of the supplies I have out as possible and often will make more than one card using similar color schemes.

Much of the details are the same for this card, just in reverse.  I used the cropped piece from the Lots of Labels Framelits in the Bermuda Bay piece of Cherry on Top DSP as the layer behind the sentiment.  The ice cream cone – and what kid doesn’t love ice cream – was made with the stamps from Sprinkles of Life in Hello Honey, Cucumber Crush, and Watermelon Wonder.  I punched the ice cream using the Tree Builder PunchStampin Up Sprinkles of Life AverysOwlery.com

Don’t forget the inside – I had a piece of DSP from Monday’s Project and with a little banner punching on the ends with the Triple Banner Punch it made a nice add on for the inside of the card.

Since both of these cards were made in a square shape, 4 1/2 x 4 1/2,  I needed to make my envelopes.  I used my Envelope Punch Board and the new Envelope Paper in the 2015-2017 In Colors.  I chose Cucumber Crush for both with the cute stripes on the inside.

  1. Cute card. I love the labels for the sentiment and the sparkly ice cream. The DSP is one of my favorite packs.
