I like to make something special for my monthly club hostess and March was no exception. There is only one requirement, that I actually give it to the hostess. Seems easy enough, right. You’d think. Ha Ha. I very carefully made this Secret Box for my hostess last week and then just as carefully left it on my work table instead of our project table. She knows it is coming and said she would be just as thrilled with it when she receives it next month.
The ‘secret’ is the surprise when you open it and find the three little trays inside for storing all kinds of goodies.
There are several Pinterest/You Tube tutorials on how to make this box. I found mine on Splitcoast Stampers and you can see it by Clicking Here.
In the tutorial the secret box was made for Christmas but I opted for a more spring theme. I used English Garden Designer Series Paper and Botanical Bloom framelits in Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy, Mint Macaron as well as Mellon Mambo with the Itty Bitty Accent punch set flower. I used a Scalloped Circle punch to support all the flowers and attach to the box. Make sure to only attach on one side so the box will open to reveal the secret trays.
