My very best friend from Grade School and High School lives in Chicago. A bit of a ways from Ohio, so we don’t see each other often. A wedding here or there and class reunions are about the extent. Whenever we are together though it is like we have never been apart. We talk and talk. I was excited to receive an invitation to her son’s High School graduation but sad to realize that I wouldn’t be able to make it. We have another commitment that same day in Indianapolis. That does not prevent me from making a Graduation Card for Davis.
This card is actually one piece of white paper, scored and folded to form the cap on the left. I looked up the high school colors – Black and Gold – to tailor make the card. It is the perfect size to tuck in a gift card inside. The Bravo from the Bravo stamp set is embossed in Gold. The chevron is from Work Of Art stamp set, stamped in Basic Black. I used the Gold Bakers twine to make the tassel and attached it with glue dots.
I found the design for this card in the CardMakers Magazine I recently started subscribing to. Great projects that can be made with any brand of product you might have.

Maybe I am just tired (or dense) but I cant see how you made the cap from that one piece of white paper. Can you explain a bit more in detail? Sure would like it if you did videos.
I can’t figure out how you made this card. Can you send some directions my way?
