Welcome to InKing Royalty’s May Blog Hop! As Stampin’ Up! demonstrators, we’ve already been able to order some fun, new products from the upcoming 2016 Annual Catalog. What a thrill! Today’s Blog Hop is filled with inspiring projects that feature sneak peeks of projects from the new catalog. After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
One of the items, among many, that I picked up as part of my new annual catalog pre-order was this super cute set of washi tape called Playful Palette. In the Playful Palette suite is Designer series paper, and a stamp set. I opted, for now, just for the washi tape. I liked how they all managed to work together while still being so different. They don’t even represent all of the new In Colors, but do have two included – Peekaboo Peach, Sweet Sugarplum.
I paired all of these to highlight the Peekaboo Peach. The card base and the Expression thinlit are Peach. The Basic Black mat makes the whole thing pop. Had I left that off it would have been all washed out. I’m a big fan of the Endless Birthday stamp set, a carry over into the new catalog and I’m so glad. The mix of script with type make it really easy to create your own greeting. It is a must have staple in my stamping cupboard.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Becky Volpp at Ink Blossom with Becky . There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!
