One of my staff members is a new father, baby boy number two, born this weekend. Throughout the last few weeks of his wife’s pregnancy the doctor had been monitoring the ever growing size of the baby. He came in at nearly 9 lbs and was 21 inches long. No small baby. I wanted a cute baby card that would welcome Gabriel Elijah to the world. 
I found this card on Pinterest from Carol Payne Stamps. Here is a link to her blog and how she made it. I liked how the giraffe ‘grew’ as you opened the card, kinda like Gabriel!! I changed it up with the colors and paired Tempting Turquise with Cucumber crush for a blue sky, forest look. To create my giraffe I used lots of punches – Ovals, Circles, Owl Builder punch, and even a bitty butterfly as well as the coat hanger from Baby‘s First Framelits to make a great Giraffe.
