Yesterday I shared with you three projects using the Rooted in Nature stamp set and the coordinating framelits Nature’s roots. You can see that post HERE.
Today I want to share two additional projects I completed using the bundle. Each project really showcases the versatility of this set and paired with other stamp sets you might have on hand it makes it a really good buy from the new annual catalog.
SNIP AND EMBOSS
I wanted to show how the large wood stamp could be used as feature item, rather than the background stamp as in yesterday’s post. I stamped the image in Blackberry Bliss (I love this color. I loved it when it was an In-color a few years ago and I’m thrilled that it is in our regular line up now. ) and then stamped the sentiment using Versamark and heat embossed with Copper. I added embossed leaves using the framelits and some copper thread.
LOTS OF LAYERS
This is a CASE of one of the projects in the annual catalog. You can find it on page 143 in the upper left corner. My catalog makes it look like it was created using a different shade of green but trust me, it is Tranquil Tide. The large tree is stamped then cropped with stitched circle framelit. I used the large wooden image as a background instead of the sentiment used in the sample. I even used the DSP to make the envelop with my Envelope Punch Board.
TIP
I particularly like how the cropped leaves turned out. I think SU did it with sponging but I chose to use my markers. I used three colors on the leaves, Mint Macaron, Crumb Cake and Cajun Craze. First I colored the edges with Cajun Craze and then stamped off. Then I colored using my crumb cake marker and finally added some mint macaron as well then huffed and stamped. The stamp really lends itself well to a multicolored look.
THANK YOU
I hope you enjoyed this dive into the uses of the Rooted in Nature stamp set and framelit bundle and will consider adding it to an upcoming order along with the beautiful DSP. You won’t be disappointed.

A gorgeous card, Lynn! I couldn’t be happier that Blackberry Bliss is back. The color scheme and layout of your card are wonderful!
