Two projects with two great products. Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper and the Darling Label Punch. I received both of these in my last order and wanted to put them to use right away.
The Darling Label Punch is only available by purchasing the Darling Label Box kit. The kit includes the Punch, Stamp set with lots of sentiments that coordinate with the punch, a D size Stamp Block and two stampin spot ink pads, Night of Navy and Grapefruit Grove, all in an 8×8 navy and Gold Tin perfect for filling with cards. It was the Night of Navy Stampin Spot that made me realize the benefits of pairing up the Twinkle Twinkle paper with this punch.
PAPER PAIRING WITH A FUN FOLD
Twinkle Twinkle paper pairs so so well with the various patterns. I picked out three patterns and played around until I had a nice mix on my fun fold card base. I heat embossed white on Night of Navy for the sentiment then cropped it with the Darling Label punch. It needed something else to anchor it so I pulled out the Pretty label punch. the pearls from Share What You Love Artisan Pearls add a nice accent.
FINDING OTHER USES
For my second card, I probably inadvertently Cased a couple of Brian King’s cards at StampwithBrian.com using the pool party and night of navy patterned paper together. I also used the gray granite stars pattern but the best part of this card is again the sentiment. It is from Animal Outing and when stamped along with the little bow above and below from that same stamp set, it fits perfectly in the Darling Label Punch. Again, I wanted something to ground the sentiment but this time I went for the Everyday Label punch underneath. This gave it a more manly look rather than the soft curves of the Pretty Label. A swirly flower from Sunshine Wishes thinlits completes the card.
