Always Grateful with Celebration Tidings

Sometimes all you need are some pretty, basic, coordinated layers to get a really pretty card. That’s what I think of with my Always Grateful card today. Pretty layers with some fabulous colors and boom, you’ve got it.

Always Grateful

The stamp set used today is Celebration Tidings and can be purchased separately or as part of the Celebration Tidings Bundle (save 10%). I didn’t use the dies in my card today but they are pretty fabulous. Here is another card I made where I did use the dies, just so you get a taste. I’ll be sharing another card using the dies along with the Have a Hoot stamp set on Monday.

A Grand Kid

Here is my Grand Kid card I made using at least one of the Celebration Label Dies. Click the image to see the full post. Monday I’ll be sharing another card using the Celebration Label dies along with the Have a Hoot stamp set so be sure to check back in.

Fall here in the US is filled with gorgeous color. Today I used Pretty Peacock, Cajun Craze and Old Olive. The layers are as follows:

  • Pretty Peacock card base 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored at 4-1/4
  • Thick Whisper White 5-1/4 x 3-1/2
  • Cajun Craze cardstock 4-3/4 x 3
  • Magic in this Night DSP 4-5/8 x 2-7/8
  • Thick Whisper White 4 x 2-1/4

The Stamparatus makes stamping these two images and a sentiment from Celebration Tidings super easy. Just line them up and check that everything is straight then stamp in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Always Grateful

I kept the coloring simple by only using the Light Pretty peacock, Light Old Olive, and both Light and Dark Cajun Craze Stampin Blends. For a little pizzazz, I used the two-tone Old Olive/Pretty Peacock ribbon as well as some Iridescent Pearls.

If you like to send Thanksgiving cards – and this year might be the perfect year to start – this would make an easy duplicatable card to send to friends and family.
