A Cut Above Birthday

How about a Man card today? I picked up the stamp set A Cut Above as soon as the Mini Catalog went live because you always need cards for the men/boys in your life. Birthdays, Father’s day, you name it. They deserve a card as much as your gal pals. My stamp class made this card last week and loved it so I’m sharing with you today.

It just so happened I needed to make two birthday cards this month, one for my Son-in-Law and one for my Brother. A Cut Above stamp set was just the ticket and stamping with Memento Black Ink set it up for coloring with Stampin’ Blends.

Stampin’ Blends

  • Granny Apple Green
  • Misty Moonlight
  • Daffodil Delight
  • Poppy Parade
  • Cinnamon Cider
  • Ivory

I am also really really liking the new patterns on the Color Collection 6×6 DSP. They are subtle designs, not overpowering at all, but add so much to your projects. Here’s the same card only using Misty Moonlight instead. It also looks great in Daffodil Delight and Poppy Parade too.
