Time of Giving and Thankful for Fall

For my first post in September 2021, I’m showing off a new stamp/die bundle – Time of Giving. This oh-so-versatile stamp and die set has all your fall needs covered, all the way through to winter snowflakes. I CASEd (copy and selectively edit) a sample found on page 61 of the mini catalog. The sample was a gift box but I wanted to convert it to a card style for my class to make.

I really liked the pop of Just jade in the Time of Giving stylish leaf die cuts and the random placement on the front. Time of Giving has several dies perfect for tag making along with some extra dies, like these leaves, for adding or standing on their own. I’ll be reaching for this bundle again soon, I’m sure.

Step by Step Time of Giving card

  1. Crumb cake card base 4-1/4 x 11 scored at 5-1/2
  2. Stamp wheat image on a 4-1/2 x 3 piece of crumb cake using Cinammon cider ink. I stamped in an alternating pattern starting at the top. Adhere a 2 x3 piece of Blackberry Beauty DSP using tape runner about an inch from the top
  3. Cut a 5″ piece of Diamond Weave ribbon to wrap the vertical front and adhere with glue dots on the back. Use a second 4″ piece of Diamond Weave ribbon long enough to wrap the horizontal front and adhere with glue dots at the top of the DSP. With a third piece about 4″ long of diamond weave ribbon about three inches slide it under the other two pieces on the diagonal and tie in a knot.
  4. Randomly stamp three leaf images on a 2-1/2 x 3 piece of basic white using cajun craze ink.
  5. Die cut three leaves from Cajun Craze and Just Jade cardstock. Adhere to Basic white randomly down one side.
  6. Stamp Thankful on piece of cajun craze cardstock using cajun craze ink. Snip to size. Adhere to top of basic white with dimensionals
  7. Adhere basic white panel at an angle on a 2/1-2 x 3 piece of cajun craze using tape runner. Add both to the card front just under the knot with dimensional.
  8. Finish it off with some brushed metallic dots
