Bottled Happiness and In-Colors

Who doesn’t love new stamps and inks and punches? I know I do! As a demonstrator, I’m privileged to be able to order new catalog products before they go live to the general public. Today I’m sharing lots of new things for you to add to your wish list; Bottled Happiness stamp/punch bundle, and all the new In Colors together on one card.

First I have to apologize on the color of my card. It is a cloudy foggy day here and the colors just aren’t quite as real as what I see in real life. But, we make do with what we have, right? How about the bottles and flowers. Those come from the new Bottled Happiness stamp set and the coordinating Bottle Punch. Such a pretty bouquet with Orchid Oasis, Sweet Sorbet, and Parakeet Party ink colors.

I was curious how the colors would work together with what some may see as three shades of blue but when they are all together, they really do play well.

Starry Sky

Starry Sky, at first glance, might look like Night of Navy but when laid side by side, it has much more purple in it, a richer deeper color that is just lovely. I used Starry Sky for the card base and the large bottle, stamping off twice for the lighter shade and full strength for the outline.

Tahitian Tide

Tahitian Tide fits nicely between the darker Pacific Point and the lighter Balmy Blue. Some of you who have been around for a while might remember the retired colorTempting Turquoise. It is similar but much brighter. I’ve used Tahitian Tide on the small bottle and the piece of Tea Boutique DSP.

Orchid Oasis

Orchid Oasis is a nice addition to our purple collection. Much more blue in it that Gorgeous Grape or Highland Heather but also redder than Night of Navy or Starry Sky. I’ve used Orchid Oasis as the flowers in the bouquet and the sentiment.

Sweet Sorbet

Sweet Sorbet does look like strawberry sorbet to me. More pink that Poppy Parade and Real Red, a nice in-between color that I think will get used a lot. I’ve used Sweet Sorbet as the flowers in the bouquet and a cardstock layer.

Parakeet Party

What to say about Parakeet Party? I’ve been team Granny Apple for years now, using it for most of my green needs, but it may have just been surpassed by Parakeet Party. It’s brighter, I didn’t think that was even possible, and just plain adorable. I’ve used Parakeet Party in the floral bouquet and the metallic ribbon around the bottle.

Upcoming Holiday color combo

I know we are months away from making holiday cards but when I was pulling out the ribbon for my card, I happened to pull out these three colors at the same time, and how awesome are they going to be on some festive holiday cards, especially with the metallic ribbon.
