Final Poppy Parade card and a cute 3D Box to store them

Happy Good Friday everyone.  And happy Passover as well.  My card today is a third in a series using the Painted Poppy Parade suite of products from Stampin’ UP!. You can see the others Here and Here.   I also made a great A2 Card Gift Box I saw on Julie DiMatteo’s PaperPixie.com.  Her Video tutorial is below.  What a great box and so quick and easy to make with any cardstock and designer series paper you have at home.  Let’s get to it.

I wanted to include a Happy Birthday card in my box and with the many sentients included in the Peaceful Moments stamp set I was had the perfect stamp.  I used the Stitched Shapes circle as the focal point and included the single Poppy stamp from Painted Poppies underneath. I even included it on the inside too.

With this one sheet of Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper you can make four of these cards lickity-split.  The paper really does all the work.  With this Happy Birthday, the Sympathy card I made on Monday and the Congratulations card yesterday I’m ready to store them into my Painted Poppies Gift box.

I used the Delightful Day stamp set for the sentiment, stamped on Poppy Parade and punched with the Everyday Label Punch.  It fits nicely with the Delightful Day tag topper punch.  I cut whisper white cardstock to 3 x 1-3/4″ and punched both ends. I punched two with the Leaf Punch and strategically placed them over the holes in the tag topper.

Julie did an amazing job designing this box.  All the sides are reinforced ( double layered) for stability and can be made with just two pieces of cardstock.  Check out her video to make your own box.

Thank you for visiting today.  I always appreciate your comments and answer all questions as soon as possible.  Until next time…

Happy Stamping
Lynn
