A Touch of Ink

This is the final week to get your free Sale-a-Bration items ordered. I’ve been showcasing lots of the products and great ways to use them in your craft room over my last several posts. Today I’m sharing A Touch of Ink stamp set. This level 2 SAB item (free with $100 purchase) has beautiful imagery and two-step stamping possibilities.

A touch of Ink

Today I chose to simply stamp and heat emboss the hummingbird and the flower on a piece of the Sand & Sea Designer paper. Seaside spray is a gorgeous sky blue color and made a neat textured background for my hummingbird sipping from a flower.

You might not think of Seaside Spray and gold as a color combo but it turns out they compliment each other very nicely. After using the Ornate Layers dies for the designer paper and the basic white piece, I cut a 1″ strip of gold foil with the same die to get the same edge designs.

A touch of Ink

I again uses my favorite Many Messages Dies with Gold Foil for my layer under the sentiment. Several of the die cuts would have worked under my heat embossed and snipped sentiment and finished off with some Gilded Gems.
